This report was founded on the ability of a country to harness the skills and knowledge of its population for economic growth. Switzerland retained its third position from the previous year due to its ability to utilize its population in growing her economy (Martin Whiting, 2016). Previously, it had been ranked for its productive workforce which is a result of academic structures that the government has invested heavily. Human resource management in Switzerland is centralized; the federal office of personnel is tasked with the setting human resource policies. It is responsible for defining and coordinating human resource policies, managing the pay system, training workers and levering their absorption into the workforce and also fosters diversity within the workforce. Its workforce has one of the highest numbers of employees working in full-time jobs within the public sector. The government has laws in place that govern the employment of its citizens. It provides guidelines on the recruitment of citizens into the workforce and their progression throughout their careers. The country has three ethnic groups: Malay, Chinese and the Indians. The largest percentage of the workforce is held by the Malay who has a population of 54.6% of the total population of the country. Ethnic imbalance in Malaysian public sector has been criticized for lack of equal representation of its citizens. Nigeria is one of the most populous countries in the world with over 1980 million people. Currently, the country is facing economic recession due the global fall in oil prices. Nigeria has been an economic powerhouse in the sub-Saharan Africa for decades, and the human resource index has played a key role in it (Van der Westhuizen, 2009). Its population comprises of the highest number of skilled middle-aged citizens that could be assimilated into the workforce. The country has invested a lot in education and health to ensure that the country has a productive workforce. Nigeria lacks a centralized human resource management body, and the employment function is delegated to the different ministries within the government. The government has adopted some of the International Labor Organization conventions for the management of human resource. HRM Procedure Many countries have developed guidelines used in the recruitment and deployment of their workforce. This facilitates the efficiency of work adaptation by employees and increases their productivity (Gold, 2013). Policies that govern how these activities are conducted are crucial in managing conflicts that may arise. Procedures provide guidelines on the employee welfare that includes their benefits, health, and wellbeing (Knill, Balint, 2008). The three countries have similarities and differences in their procedure development and applications The Switzerland government classifies employees into different ranks according to their qualifications. The central government delegates some of the responsibilities of the ministries or units within the government including the recruitment, contract terms, career progression and dismissal from work. The quality of work output is tracked by the central organ which determines the worthiness of the employee. The conditions that workers are exposed to are managed by a federal body and the respective ministries. This practice allows the ministries to develop their guidelines and strategies in employing their workers. The Federal civil service of Nigeria is a regulatory body that oversees the recruitment and placement of the workers. It is tasked formulating policies that govern how ministries recruit their employees and analyses the work output of these employees. It gives guidelines for determining the type of skills required for a particular post. HRM Issues/Implications Countries strive to utilize the labor provided by the population for economic growth. Population increase is a positive and a negative factor to any economy. Gold, J. (2013) argues that the ability of a country to absorb its population into its workforce is crucial and if the population is overwhelming then it may strain its other resources and slow the economic growth. Consumption rises while production goes down affecting the dynamics of the economy. The population of the three countries in comparison differs; Nigeria leads the pack with over 180 million inhabitants. The population is a factor that needs to be regulated to avoid straining the economy. Training and education given to employees form part of a pivotal role in the economic growth a country. Education gives a chance to citizens to improve their lives through employment opportunities provided by the government. Investing in education is important to a country as the workforce is supplied continually with staff that is knowledgeable. Training should regularly be given to the employees to keep them updated with the new trends such as technology. HRM Discussion Human resource management is crucial to any institution. A structured system of recruiting employee is important as employees can work in areas of their specialization. Potential employees are given a chance to apply for posts that they feel more qualified to serve. The three countries have made policies to regulate how the public sector works for improvement and stabilization of their economies (Nankervis, Rowley, Salleh, 2016). Employees betterment is important as they can fully contribute to the economy when their working conditions remain favorable. Recommendations and Conclusion A central placement human resource is manageable and transparent. It gives all the citizens an opportunity to work in areas they qualified to work. Employee needs should be given attention as they constitute the breath line to the success of an economy. Any conflict that may lead to strikes or go-slows should be avoided, and these problems should be mitigated. From an economic development perspective, countries should focus on educating the population, creating job opportunities and giving them a recommendable pay for their work. Essay about Child Development: Toddlers Observation Essay This observation was mostly conducted behind a one way glass. I watched the children but they did not know I was there. The ages of the children served in that program were in the range of 18-36 months. Curriculum used in that program is considered Creative. Qualifications for staff must hold to work in this program is a Child Development Associate’s degree (CDA) or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. The kind of family involvement this program offers includes training, car seat safety, health dept. workshops, and home visit to help parents meet goals for their children. Parent volunteers are always welcomed. Room arrangement and choice of equipment are geared toward toddlers and their development needs. The room was open and allowed viewing of the children at all times. As the toddlers left their big square table they headed to the kitchen area also known as the Dramatic Play area for social time. It did not take them long to have everything pulled out and the teacher having them put things back up as she sings the song clean up from the Barney Show. The room consisted of a play kitchen and dress up area for pretend play with the teacher. They practiced dressing, feeding, and loving the baby dolls. They practiced cooking, serving and eating the pretend food. I loved watching the children play dress up. One male child carried around a purse as he shopped and another male child learned he had pockets. At this age children are considered object centered and this was defiantly seen during play time. Children love to imitate adults and this was true as I watched a female trying to talk on her pretend cell phone as she dealt with food in the microwave. Reading area with a living room environment where one . .en became distracted by climbing; sliding and playing follow the leader on the play equipment. One male student chose to play ball by himself most of the time. After they made three laps it was race time. The teacher let them line up and counted one, two, three and they were off even the younger one joined in this activities. As the children ran the teacher encourages each one by name and they made it to the finish line with smiles and sideways look to see who might be watching. Everyone has a winner in this group. One child had a problem with their perceptual motor skill as one female bumped her head on the wall and wanted her â€Å"Mommy†. Once more the teacher was there so quick to see to the needs of this child. What I found interesting was there was no TV, movies, or music playing. It was workers and children together playing as hard as they could play.

Organic Architecture Worldwide notoriety is a comment that would suggest Frank Lloyd Wright and the architecture that he left behind. This legendary American architect started a style of organic structures that remains a roadmap for the people of his genera today. His greatness not only remains by the buildings that he left behind, but through his school that he along with his wife started and his philosophy about designing. As a young child, Wright developed these characteristics that made him the artist that he was. At a young age in 1885, Wright's parents were unhappy with their marriage so they got a divorce (turner 400). A very unusual thing for that day and time, the divorce caused much pain for the family. Wright's mother dearly loved her only child and provided him with the characteristics necessary when approaching design with his philosophy. When asked if he knew what he wanted to be when he was younger, Wright responded by telling the man that his goal was to always be an architect ever since when at a young age he was given his first tinker toy building blocks. Even though some may chuckle at the validity of such a statement, Wright was serious and believed that through the little toys he was inspired to change a profession. As a young man, Wright studied engineering for only two terms at the University of Wisconsin. This was the beginning of the rest of his life as an architect. He earned a position as the chief draftsmen for the Adler Losing this job due to technical contracts that forbid him to sell his own drafts outside of the company. This was a blessing in a way because of the fact that Louis Sullivan was well respected and celebrated as an architect himself. Had Wright stayed he may have been shadowed under Sullivan. Being able to leave this shadow enabled him to create some of the greatest and most beautiful structures in the world. One of these, is the house built for the Kaufmanns family in Bear Run Pennsylvania. Properly called ?Falling Water? the structure rests in the middle of the woods right on top of a stream. The amazing thing about the way that this structure was designed is that although it rests in the middle of a wooded area, the enormous house looks and feels like it belongs. Just as the large expanse of rock that the structure sits on was worn away by the water over hundreds of years, the house too by design looks to have been their for milleniums and just happened to wear away out of the earth. Through the colors and material that was used on the construction of this habitat there is no sense of out of place to go along with this house. This house fits the philosophy of the great Wright. In architecture, it was Wright's vision to create everything so that it went well with the natural surroundings. He called this organic architecture. This was the basis by which all of his work was done. So many people wanted to be taught in this fashion of creating things, and Wright wanted to learn from others. From this, he created the Taliesin Fellowship. Out in the desert, a group of apprentices and he collaborated and learned from each other along with constructing all of the buildings by themselves and growing food. This institution became a community of all people with the same passion as Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1959 the aged Wright passed away at the Taliesin Fellowship headquarters. Although this was the end for the man, the reputation lives on and continues to astonish and amaze the world of architecture.

It has been proven that poor nutrition leads to lower intelligence, poor physical development, and diminished immunity to disease. Children deprived of proper nutrition during the brain’s most formative year’s score much lower on tests of reading, vocabulary, arithmetic, comprehension and general knowledge. The more poverty a child faces, the lower his or her nutritional level is likely to be. Government assistance to poor families such as WIC help; however, the guidelines for eligibility fall woefully short of making sure that every child has adequate nutrition.
